Hundreds of Haitians protested on Friday the preliminary results of the presidential election that's headed for a runoff vote.
In the capital Port-Au-Prince, supporters of candidate Jude Celestin, who came in second place, lit tires on fires and chanted during the protest.
Supporters of Moise Jean-Charles, the candidate who came in third place also marched against the preliminary results.
Jean-Charles has said the results were a sham orchestrated by current President Michel Martelly.
At a news conference on Friday, second-place candidate Celestin said that he was aware of his opponents' "plan to steal the vote of the population."
The Provisional Electoral Council announced on Thursday the much-anticipated results from the 54-candidate first round presidential contest that took place on 25 October.
Government-backed presidential candidate Jovenel Moise came in first place with 32 percent of the vote, according to the Council.
At a news conference in Port-Au-Prince on Friday, Moise already referred to himself as Haiti's leader.
Since no candidate won a majority in that ballot, the two top finishers are set to meet in a 27 December runoff.
